yes the ball is in her court but she has yet to make a move. I mean, can someone be so busy for 5 straight hours to the point they cant respond to a text?

Answer is more likely that she is a shitty manager and doesn't really care enough to respond within a reasonable period though

 

hmmm yes yes you could be right. And i dont work again until friday and i may or may not see her that day. ughh this is really making me angry. I really dont wanna have to switch stores

 

Wait until Friday and if you don't see her, call her. And if it's still nothing then transfer. Would that be okay? I would transfer if I were you anyway and the other store was close enough and convenient to get to. I can't stand that workplace BS. Imagine how shitty it would be if you didn't have that option

 

Yea I live right inbetween the two stores so its the same distance to each. I dont want one person to ruin something good though, ive worked here for over a year and its been fun and ive met all these cool people i do not want this one jackass ruin all that for me.
I guess ill wait till friday because next weeks schedule will be up by than as well.

Well my manager never responded yesterday so i texted my former manager today and she said to bring the transfer form to the new store tomorwo and she will give it to HR.
I guess this friday will be my last day
Time to move on...

Just remember ... you made friends with your workmates. The fact that they ain't gonna be your workmates any longer doesn't mean they have to stop being your friends.

Well I talked to my old manager today at the store i was supposed to transfer to and she said she talked to the store manager (not my department manager) at the store im currently at and he wont let me transfer. Said you cant bring your problems to another store or something. thats fucken bull shit ive never done anythig to them, my manager is the fucking problem not me. Im stuck here now i guess. Im gonna have to have a meeting with all the managers and tell them what a fucking piece of shit my manager s and i may call the district manager because he might actually do something

You might have to hunker down, doing even more than ever to prove to them (maybe over the course of many weeks) that you are a man of your word and a star player!

That's something I really HATE.

And it's soemthing I've suffered from a lot too; so I knwo exactly where you're comign from on this one.

 

In all probability they have, from what you have said, blackballed you. That and the statement about reducing your hours. If they will not transfer you within the company it tends to point to your time with that company probably being short.

I would suggest that you look for alternative employment, the signs are there that you are going to need to.

Sorry to read all of this and I hope that perhaps it will mean that you have a change in employment that is better for you.

 

you could see if the good manager will rehire you if you quit your store (making sure to put in your two weeks notice of course, so you don't get the "no rehire" tag).

if that doesn't work, look somewhere else. this job just doesn't sound worth the bullshit, as it is now.

 

haha my mom just told me to quit and see if the othe place will hire me right away. i didnt even think to ask my old manager.
and i mean my job is good, its just my manager is a fucking thorn in me side!!! Im not gonna let her win. Shes a spoiled fucking brat. And if i go down, im bringing her down with me

When you quit where you're at do it gracefully, Please. Don't let that wretch cause you to act in ways that don't represent your better qualities. If you lower yourself to fight with her in the shit pit of her world guess what's gonna get splattered with shit. Don't stir in shit, stay clean and above it. You are too good a man to end up stained by this.

It's like rude inattentive drivers you meet on the road.
You do want to stay out of their way to avoid sharing their fate,
because sooner or later, they get in a wreck of their own devising.

Once in a while an evil person rises to power and an entire company becomes dysfunctional, dominated by sociopaths with a few good people "trapped" with no easy way out. If things get that bad, then I start planning how I will leave, on terms of my own choosing. And yes, I had to do that once or twice.

Focus on getting clean for the usual tests that new hires get, keep your resume up-to-date, and keep your long-term goals in mind.

 

Thanks all for the support. I just REALLLY do not want to switch jobs. I like doing what I do at this place to much and the people I work with. My old manager told me to maybe have a meeting with them and write my current manager notes about what I have done through out the day so she knows im doing work and what not. And its really hard to find another job because I live in los angeles and theres justs to many people here.

And le aura i havent gone in yet its only 8am I go in at 1pm
