''work it out'' isnt always good advice

Leaving just "make it work again"? Sounds wrong to me ... very wrong.

If you have to leave, then leave. Don't just do it to attract attention.

Like someone who threatens to jump off a building.

Exactly what I told my recent ex, why should we be together when we make eachother so upset? The happiness is rare, and constant arguing and distance.... yes we love eachother but love is never enough. It's a hard truth to see, but the longer you wait to see it...the harder it is to let go and heal from that.

the fake ''leave''....always a bad move...i have faked leaving before...used it as an excuse to go out and party....

 

I dunno. I think for every 'making it work' poster there's an equal number of 'kick them to the curb' posters and those are just as annoying sometimes.

Both have times and places when they are correct and not just some projection of the poster's past on to whatever problem some other poster is having.

Honestly, I don't even get why people think they'd get good advice by sharing here. It's the internet.

i think on this site one can post a question and get enough serious responses to get good advice...or a consensus of good advice..........i get that some threads dont get far...and usually for good reason...posting a thread that makes it a few pages takes a little thought......i like to think i get a good response from the ''internet''......just because we are equal numbers in the debate doesnt mean we shouldnt debate
