just use clear eys ot vizene for the red eyes. I do it all the time. It actually helps me during school to concentrate on my work instead of my surroundings

 

No, they wouldn't, most of my customers are high as well. They just smile and wink cause they know it's all good!

 

At sonic, when someone orders a burger It comes up in the kitchen on a big screen, and has the initials of what dressings they want underneath.
Every time someone would order a burger with Pickles, Onions, and Tomatoes only it would show up on the screen as a POT burger.

Me, The manager, and 2 other employees would take turns going out and smoking a bowl everytime someone ordered a POT burger

 

I'm a mechanic and i smoke while i work, doesnt stop me doing what has to be done, and doesnt slow me down. My bosses know i smoke - as long as it's not blatant infront of customers it doesnt matter to them.

 

Fuck going to work, get a few friends to take a sick day with you and smoke with them.

LIP, you act like I haven't worked in my life. How do you think I get the money to smoke? I don't get an allowance, I don't have a cellphone, and I don't have an iPod because I would have to pay for all of that with my own money. I've had a job for almost 2 years now, and I'd rather skip work on a rare occasion and smoke with a few good friends then try to handle going to work blazed. Too much can go wrong, I can get caught or fuck up during my job and get fired. Especially during the summer when I lifeguard. (Close friends of my parents manages the summer club, so she let me get certified / a lifeguard job even though I was a little young)

It's not that I say work doesn't matter, just skip it, it's just blazing at home is safer for most people then blazing and going to work, especially for me when as someone who IS younger I get monitored a lot more closely when I work and by people in general.

Besides, weed shouldn't be an every day thing, just something you do for recreation.

 

I can see why you'd get scrutinized more for being young.

And weed should be anything you want. If you can afford to smoke everyday and get no negative effects, why not? Obviously if someone cant afford it or would rather get stoned than work/do important things that need doing then i agree, it shouldnt be an every day thing - some people just shouldnt smoke, period.

But for those of us who smoke medicinally as well as recreationally [us medicainl users like getting stoned too!] we havnt got much choice about when we smoke or how much. We smoke the amount we need, when we need it.

I smoke everyday, and go to work stoned. Like i said, it doesnt cause problems, for me at least.

But theres no need to pull a sickie and go and get stoned - thats the immature thing to do. It's much better to go to work, be reliable and smoke afterwards with friends.

Im a manager, and i cant stand it when people phone in sick, give a bullshit reason and then i find out they wernt sick at all. It means everyone has to work that bit harder, and faster to make up for the loss of a mechanic.

If you really are sick, thats fine... and if your really sick and want to go out and smoke, that's also fine, but i choosing to get stoned instead of go to work is not the right thing to do.

Priorities.

 

haha worst advice ever. Im sure once you get a real job you wont just call in whenever. Im not talking about that fast food job either. Obviouslly you shouldnt be smoking if you cant even control yourself at work, cant even afford a cell phone cuz your too broke. Id rather take my money after a days work and blaze with the same freinds that you said to take sick days with. We'll have more money so we could blaze more or even buy a cell phone if we wanted. Im a manager and if you call in, your basically risking your job at that point. Call in- less hours for next weeks because of un reliablility

 

I worked at a quiznos and always worked stoned. It was soooooooooooooo much fun I looooooooooooooved it!

 

working stoned is fine for lots of people unless your a goof. when i take bong hoots im motivated to work hard so i can make money to take more bong hoots. nobody will notice youre baked, and if your that much of a sketch artist then get some visine.

I worked at an arcade and my manager would smoke with me. I would just go to the redemtion center or out back and chill. I really enjoyed answering phones when I was high
I would have to pitch the idea of having a birthday party to people who called, and take the reservation if they want it.

 

everyone at my work and i mean everyone smokes up before work! most ofn them are servers and i dont understand how they can take peoples orders right and act all normal and shit. i have a hard enough time trying not to spill drinks and not messing up there orders, i think id be a mess. even the cooks all blaze during there shifts. its so funny everyone comes in with red eyes and they have eye drops in there aprons. i got asked today to smoke with this guy from to go orders and i was like, love too but if i fuck up one more thing... but anyway, i would love to smoke during work if i didnt have a job so directly involved with people and remember things.

 

I am a cashier at goodwill and besides cashiering I also hang and pull clothes, clean lots of diff things. I go to work blazed most the time and for me its different being high at work i work alot faster and am not as lazy which is wierd cuz usually when i blaze at home or somthin i become rediculously lazy. But idk it just really motivates me at work but i also have a boss that i am really close with and we blaze together so i dont have to worry about having to hide it usually so idk how that would work.

 

All you folks who smoke with your bosses are real lucky.

 

Amazingly enough, I work just as good if not better high. Its amazing because I am usually a really paranoid smoker when I have to "keep my cool". I don't know what makes work so different. And I don't have a "real job" as of now. I just work at a small grocery store and have to stock shelves, run register, etc. But the first time I ever went to work high I had a shit load to do. I am still amazed that I was able to climb up on top of a ladder and carry down about 25+ boxes from the ladder. I saw it as a test of my ability because this was not a regular task. As if someone or something was trying to see if I could handle it. I didn't fall off the ladder or drop the boxes and my boss even said I did a great job! And get this, I had to go up to a bagel shop and get him some long ass complicated order. I managed to remember exactly what he wanted, got his coffee and everything! And I wasn't just a little high, I was fucked. I do remember having trouble counting out change however. I'd be like, "6 cents is your change." and hand them 8 cents or something. Nothing major but I probably looked stupid. I don't do it often, but when I do I never have problems.

me and my friend used to smoke before during and after work every day, I wish I still had that job, it was so much fun! we were driving forklifts and company trucks all day too, but I guess I can handle myself good when I'm blazed, had plenty of meetings with my boss, even my bosses boss while high and nobody ever suspected a thing, however, there are the times when you smoke just a little too much, but I would just avoid people when that happened, whatever I was working on I would be sure I would avoid everybody as much as possible even if it meant going out of my way. The first time I smoked before work though, I was so paranoid that everybody would know, but you start to get the feel of it after awhile and it becomes second nature to act normal while high at work.

 

i usually only smoke once a week at my job. most days, i´m outta there by 2pm at the very latest, so i´ll just smoke after work. but every now and then, it works out that i´ll be high when i go in.

I´m a manager, as well, so i´ve got to deal with a lot of important shit. i can do it stoned just fine, but i started to realize that it´s better for me not to be that high at work. I used to smoke AT work, but i long-since stopped that. there were a few time when customers came in a noticed that it smelled like weed or could tell that i was high. of course, there were other times when i was completely sober and people would call me out for being high and smelling like weed.

even though i´m a manager, i´m always working alone (as in, the only person in the building). so being high really helps to pass the time. it´ll make me more productive and i´ll actually work on bigger projects and clean/organize stuff.

today just happens to be one of my "high" days at work. I gotta get on that! ;-)
