Back to World News; about 2012, doesn't the Bible also say that no man knows the day or hour? Does that mean we can know the year?

 

The Bible says at 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3; For YOU yourselves know quite well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. Whenever it is that they are saying: “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them just as the pang of distress upon a pregnant woman; and they will by no means escape.

So it seems that the cry of “Peace and security!” is that single defining point but that cry itself is not easily defined.

Also note in that scripture that it's not going to be as easy as saying 2012 to know when the end is coming, because it's coming as a thief in the night and the only way not to be caught off guard is to remain vigilant.
