Archduke Ferdinands Death was just an excuse, Like Kennedy's Death, To Support a war that could not have been brought without it. The Black hand which assasinated Archduke Ferdinand was owned by the Freemasons who had earlier condemned Archduke Ferdinand to death, and had everything to gain from a world war: "Not mentioned by the Scottish Rite journal [New Age] was the fact that the alleged assassins of the Archduke were members of the "Black Hand," a South Slav revolutionary organization which was a progeny of Freemasonry. "During the trial, Princep testified that his colleague, Ciganovitch, 'told me he was a Freemason;' and, on another occasion, 'told me that the Heir Apparent [Franz Ferdinand] had been condemned to death by a Freemason's lodge.' "Moreover, another of the accused assassins, Chabrinovitch, testified that Major Tankositch, one of the plotters, was a Freemason." (ibid, pp. 217-218)" Peace and Love, Dan
I did not attack anyone, I have just conveyed to you the information that I have read regarding that institution. If we were discussing the Anglican church, I may have mentioned some of the historical wrongdoings of that church, but we were not. And no, my claims are true to the best of my knowledge. I am not even debating, first of all. Secondly, you are right, I refuse. I refuse to waste my time digging up a news story quoting the Pope just so you can say its BS. I couldn't care less if you believe it anyway. I am sure the Vatican is always publishing their errors in their own publications, lol. I am not trying to prove anything about a religion. Just sharing information I have read. Catholics are just as good people as Buddhists, atheists, Muslims, Protestants, etc. I hold no bad feelings towards Catholics, and even have good friends that are devout followers of that faith. As for the number of Cathars killed, maybe you are right, who knows. I do not believe the numbers are nearly as low as your sources state. It did happen 800 years ago, so how can either of us be sure.
Knowledge? You still have not even provided a source for your info, I have. You said between 250,000-1,000,000 people died: That is absurd, we are not talking about The Plague here. Predicting what I will say? No, that's BS. Once again, you make claims and don't even validate them. Yeah, they're errors, according to who? You? The person that makes absurd claims and does not even back them up? I got my sources from 2 encyclopedias, if you can present a better one than I will certainly read it.
Maybe you're just an absured and incorect person. And this thread turned religious because they always feel the need to throw their unwanted damn "god" bullshit into politics. No one cares about your "god", people. Get over it. But politics and religion mix anyways. Why do you think that asshole is back in office? Damn, I could pretend I'm Christian and go to church every now and then and then I'd be elected.
No, I am not absurd or incorrect. I proved my case with my sources. Kiss my ass. I don't mix my politics and my religion, most Catholics don't, and I certainly did not vote for Bush. If people go back and re read a few posts back they will see, as you stated incorrectly, why this topic got brought up: People made incorrect statements about the Catholic Church killing 1 million people, which was absurd, and I proved my point.
You religious kind sure have been irritable lately, eh? I was speaking in general. Get over yourself. Life dosnt revolve around you.
Jesus would obviously bomb Iraq, since Bush did that and God supposedly leads Bush, so that must be right. "It's your Christian duty to vote Bush!"
Yep, your going to hell if you didn't vote for that monkey George Bush, didn't you hear him before? he said god told him to strike al queda, and that god told him to attack iraq, so it must be god's will to do all this, and dick cheney said "if you don't vote GWB terrorists will attack american cities with nuclear weapons", well if you didn't, that means the terrorists will attack us, and it will be your fault for not voting GWB...see ya in hell lol Peace and Love, Dan
There are a TON of Christians who didn't vote for Bush, including me. Try and say, "Fundementalist Protestants", whom bascially hate the Catholic Church and us as well anyway.
Mine was a joke not for christians but the Conservative Christians who kept telling me i was going to hell for voting for Kerry because I was voting for a murderer, and they know who they are..I in no way intended to offend anyone..and if I offended you I appologize. One person says he's a christian conservative, that's why I used it.
Hell is gonna be full of almost half of Americans since we didn't vote for him..damn..it's gonna be crowded..I'll be sure to high five ya when I see ya there
So if MM promotes abortion which is hurtful and evil and is not tolerable you consider his post good. And you accept all faiths as true, even when they all contradict each other. You say you cannot say they are untrue yet you say the died for our sins thing you do not accept. You basically are contradicting yourself when you say you accept all faiths, but it appears you don't, especially when it comes to Christianity. And you activally state that Christians should stop attempting to coerce others to agree with them. When in fact Jesus told us to do just that. The problem is you do not accept all faiths and please stop trying to sound like you do. It's obvious you have a real problem with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
what he is doing is more likely to attract people to christianity. You are giving christians a bad name. People now don't wanna hear about the hell fire and brimstone. They want to hear they will be accepted. I believe as long as you are a good person, there is a place for you in the afterlife. I myself am also christian. But im not a literalist like yourself. I look at religion as sort of "Fuck up insurance." You put in your time with your religion, abiding by your belief system, hopeing one day it pays off. You have faith that you are insured for the after life. I know this sounds bad, but that is what it breaks down to. If you want to appeal to people who are christian, try relating to them first before you start violently flinging bibles at them. I was converted to christianity because of the examples my theology professor led. He taught me about all religions. (Comparative religions) Plus I like the benefits of the policy.
