    as much as i love my hair, i want yours :p

    your pics always make me anxious, i guess waiting for my hair to get that long instead of taking yours will make it that much more worth the wait.

    This is the most inspiring dread timeline I've seen. Your dreads are amazing. I'm now even more excited about having dreads.

    Ok I just read the whole thread (that was some hardcore derailment in the first few pages!).
    Can I just get this straight:
    a) from day one of dreadlocks, you've been washing your hair with any old cheapo shampoo, regardless of residues and all that, and have no sign of any problems
    b) you do some occasional crochet maintenance and haven't observed it causing problems such as a load of extra broken hairs which all pop back out of the dread again
    c) there are no other secrets to your amazing dreads?
