in some states transgender persons can use the bathroom they identify themselves with..

creepy persons will probably get arrested if they act inappropriate ..
laws thats protect those that are transgendered vary from state to state..

a true transgendered person will know most of the state laws/rules..

some states require you have ID changes to match your gender. this isnt easy to do btw.

most people/ and police dont bother with things like this unless an obscenity law is broken.

Transgender persons often know how to carry themselves to avoid issues with public restrooms, and other area of society are soft enough not to make an issue about it either.

 

Men urinating in toilets, assuming they flush, is one of the most wasteful things we do. Incredible waste of water, especially now that they have waterless urinals.

So, it's a terrible idea to encourage that.

 

I've noticed that the people pushing for that, not just bathrooms but locker rooms, too, almost always have complete distain for normal people's feelings about privacy.

 

ok. ya i know its not easy to do.thats good the area of society that don't make an issue of it,but i'd be more concerned about the complicated issues it brings up for transgender people themselves.theres always room for improvement.

 

women who were born in mens bodies would'nt agree with you.every lady is entitled to their privacy as are all gentlemen born in womens bodies too.

 

I hear you, but large areas of the world are running out of water. We need to find ways to stop the waste.

So, I hear you, roomy, being concerned about the privacy of the trans-gendered, but what about the privacy of, say, young women who feel violated if there's a penis in their locker room. I know we were talking about bathrooms, but the same arguments apply to locker rooms.

 

a penis in itself is just a penis.just a bodily organ.a person can only feel violated by a penis if it is used by someone in a violating way.

the good news is that men never seem to flush in public restrooms.

unless it's one of those motion sensor flushers that flushes the toilet every time you breathe.

 

I don't believe that is true for many people. Imagine a locker room full of women and then an unthreatening naked person with a penis walks in. You don't think a lot of women would freak?
