hahaha, you're probably right, madcrappie! ;)

i did hear some bits off of it on NPR one day - very "wall-esque"

damn, why is there so much hatred against the final cut?? I think its awesome album, even if its roger waters little baby.

I think the whole album is good, no filler at all. in some ways I like it better than the wall....... the wall is too long and pretentious at times.... (especially the second disk)

Yeah Final Cut is good, not the worst Floyd album. I LOVE the title track.

I completely agree with you on Obscured by clouds but not on The Final Cut. If I had to chose one it would probably be Momentary lapse of reason but even that is tough.

I wonder if some of you are even fans at all. To say that there are so many bad ones is just nuts to me. There might be one or two. Gimmie a break.

Well, 'A Momentarl Lapse Of Reason' is rather average, but...

'Atom Heart Mother' is SHOCKING. The rest is great.

No it's not. It sucks. I LOVE PINK FLOYD AND OWN JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THEM, but 'Atom Heart Mother' is just unbelievably dull, and to say that it's 'one of the most creative albums you've ever heard' is very puzzling indeed. They all worked apart on it, and only Waters is ever amazing on his own, although 'If' is hardly amazing in this case.

'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason' is okay, not much repeat value, a bit middle-of-the-road, but it has some great songs, and 'Sorrow' is incredible live. 'The Division Bell' is a great album.
