Yeah. With all of the bullshit hype surrounding i thought that it was going to be quite good. How wrong i was. Not scary. At all. The acting in it was mediocre. IMO
Loads of people think its really scary but i wasn't into it. Someone said Cloverfield i thought that was crap as hell, some of the decisions in that movie made no sense, like seriously who would hold a camera while being attacked by creatures then friend comes and helps but she gets bitten because why....he would NOT let go of the camera
As an avid Avatard, I'm not going to comment other people's opinions on that movie which I read a few pages back... Everyone's entitled to an opinion... not everyone will see the specialty of it beyond the plot and story similarities to other sources. Or to put it as one character who said in that movie: "It is hard to fill a cup which is already full." However, to add some really bad stuff, here's a little list sharing one common trait: Richard Thomas (a.k.a. John-Boy Walton) starring in them: Crash Landing - the rescue of flight 232 (a semi-documentary drama on the crash landing of United Airlines flight 232 in Sioux City, Iowa, in July 1989), Steven King's It (not even Tim Curry as Pennywise saved that one) and of course, the one that has to win the award for best phallic spaceship: Battle Beyond the stars... and look who did the score and art direction there: the director and the music composer of Avatar :smilielol5: But for sure, this movie was the starting point of film music for SF and space opera sounding like sailing ships rather than starships. The opening theme by Horner is just the foreshadowing of his future scores for Krull and Star Trek II and III - and wonderfully exaggerated, too. He recycled the second part of that theme (from 3.07 on in that audio clip below) for the "Enterprise clears moorings" theme and almost all Enterprise-themed bits in the aforementioned Star Trek movies. As far as movie music composers are concerned, James Horner should be named "The Recycler". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQL0h2TNJG0"]YouTube- Battle Beyond the Stars- James Horner So, here's proof that the touch of Mr. Cameron's hand doesn't turn everything into solid gold. Sometimes the mass stays brown, soft and pungent. Roger Corman has produced and directed some trashy or at least trashy-looking B-movies (my favourites are his movies based - very loosely at times - on the works of Edgar Allan Poe with Vincent Price starring in them...), but that one was by far the worst he produced. At least the director, Jimmy T. Murakami, did a very good animated film after that - very good and disturbing too, called When the Wind Blows (in 1986, on the height of terror of nuclear armageddon, remembered also for its music by Roger Waters and the title song by David Bowie... ). Damn, I wanna see that. Gotta look for a cheap DVD. Hey, if I can enjoy Forbidden Planet with an unrecognizable Leslie Nielsen (no wrinkles in his face) then I will probably like this one. John Boy in Space!!
And there's more hilarious fun in it.. John "Hannibal" Smith (George Peppard) in space with him.. wearing a cowboy hat! I was laughing my butt off watching it on TV... Oh, and Amazon just made me chuckle, too... they're recommending to buy this one together with Star Crash (starring David Hasselhoff) and The Ice Pirates (starring Robert Urich) - how's that for a trashy space opera triple feature? :smilielol5: And now: fasten your seat belts for the original trailer of Star Crash (yes, that's Christopher Plummer in it, too): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzfuNSpP0RA"]YouTube- Starcrash (1979) trailer Wiggling toes, ~*Ganesha*~
Those Sci-fi B movies are a lot of fun, though... I'm pretty sure they know they're bad, and even if they don't, they're still fun to watch. The worst movies are those big-budget movies that take themselves seriously like Twilight and 10,000 BC and such. Seriously, they could have partially restored the economies of some African countries with the money they spent making that shit.

I really liked Phantom Menace but that is just me.... rotten movies are ones like The Bostonians The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai acrossed the Eighth Dimension The Rift
I think you were the only one and I’m a big fan of Star Wars The always irritating Jar Jar Binks, that insufferable little prick Jake Lloyd who played Anakin Skywalker, Boss Nass, and Darth Maul who looked like some reject from Insane Clown Posse Hotwater
maybe I'd have to see it again but I remember mario brothers being pretty terrible. Corky Romano looked pretty bad from what I saw too, chris kataan sucks.
Ice-T clearly made these films for tax purposes. Corrupt (1999) (producer) Stealth Fighter (1999) (executive producer)

Thing about the c grade movies like Plan 9,Killer tomatoes,Nazis must die is that they are so bad --they are good. The ones that piss me off are the so-called Hollywood block busters. I definately like most of Sundance offerings and some foreign.Shitty movies are fun to groan to and marvel at the fact someone would even make them.
