I paid for two premium seats to watch that movie. I could have been watching Robin Hood. I went with a woman. She chose the film. I have not been to the cinema with her since.

I hadn't planned to see this movie - it just seemed too silly in the trailers. But, two of my mentally retarded clients wanted to go on a movie date and chose it.

So, add three matinee tickets to that ($24). At least I was getting paid to sit 3-rows back while they enjoyed the movie.

 

The weird thing is, it has not only done well financially, but critically too. Go figure.
