I tend to find that unplanned (or quickly planned, ie not well-planned) trips do not go well for me. Perhaps its a similar issue in your case? People need to remember the power these drugs hold. They should be respected and revered. Plus one's own mind is a crazy and complex place as it is!
Should of saved it for a better time. This is always my problem. Except I'm more of one to save it forever.
One time me and two other good friends of mine, all dosed to go see a concert down at our local campus, was a killer show and we all were really tripping hard when it was over still. It was a lot colder now that it was night time. As we were walking the 3 blocks back to his car, we find out that it was gone. WTF happened? we were like 70% sure we parked their. It was at a bookstore and we have parked there multiple times before to go see shows. Lone and behold I guess we just got lucky each time because this time his car got towed We sat down to smoke a cigarette, to brainstorm what next. Our best bet was to go wait inside a McDonalds to get a taxi. But we all were broke, so once we got the taxi we had to explain that when he drove us home we would pay him, which was supper sketchy. Thankfully I was dropped off first, and my other two friends parents ended up paying for the taxi ride back home, was a crazy adventure.
As a general rule of thumb i dont usually trip alone. I've done it before, and just not something I like. Ive been in this dark state of mind before, and it is one of the worst things I have ever experienced. It was so weird knowing that it was the LSD but it still wouldnt stop. Its almost like the world comes crashing in. Luckily for me though, i had Netflix and watched, oddly enough, some South Park. Turned on some lights and just laughed and my world became bright. But since then I haven't tripped alone. But atleast your ok, and you learned from this. Just got to be safe
I doubt this. Freaking out as you described means nothing about the quality of acid. You took it late at night, with a bad set and setting. What did you think would happen? When people get acid and just take it without there being a special event or plan or whatever, they tend to have a poor understanding of it, which means they also probably, deep down, have a low opinion of it and of "drugs" in general. This often happens with people who think all drugs are just happy pills, and have taken acid before and had good happy pill style experiences. Then they do it with no plans and often at night, and realize it's not just a happy pill. And THEN they blame the acid as a "bad batch" or something, because they don't understand how a drug can be anything but "good" or "bad".
