thats doesn't mean someone can't come back from that point with support, and sometimes support can be found in really unexpected places

I generally stay out of threads like that, anyway, if I am worried about someone I PM them.

If they have chav-like pictures of themselves smoking up in their sigs, I have to use some judgement...

I completely agree with Daisy... if someone is triggered by an internet comment from a stranger that person is already lost.

If someone is so emotionally unstable that he can be persuaded into and out of suicide by random strangers on the internet, then that person belongs in his local mental institution.

 

I usually try to be positive when I've read a thread like that, I mean, sometimes tough love works better on certain people, but I hate to come off as sounding cruel and uncaring, because that's just not me.

Would I feel guilty? Sure, if I taunted them and told them to go kill themselves.

True, but those people probably only make up a good 0.0000000001% of the population, which is why I will still joke about suicide, like everything else.
