Maña you are quite lovely - a wonderful photo. Greengoddess grown males like to look at grown females. My wife has numbers of stretch marks and I find her to be the most beautiful of woman.

Absolutely I would do it if asked by someone I trusted. Actually very recently I kind of hinted to my friend, who is a photographer, that I wanted to do something like that... lol

Hi Maña, and thanks for the photo - it is a good one. Anyway this comment interested me... could you explain what you mean by that?

I ask because although I've never aspired to be a pro bodybuilder I've had a strong interest in fitness and am still trying to find the best ways to improve my body (and of course it goes hand in hand with mind which is why I find the comment about "focus on the outside self" interesting). If you like PM me.

seems like some of the ppl here think that posing nude is a sexual thing, that the body that is posing has to be asthetically pleasing, but really it doesn't... it's figure drawing, not porn. honestly, the more variety the better. (at least in my experience)

    Great point Tigerlily!!! :)
With that, I would like to mention that when I pose nude for art classes there are other models there of all shapes and sizes! Some big some small some short some tall. It makes for some beautiful art!

I did it, it's one of the few jobs where you actually get paid to do nothing...and it's nice to hear the comments people make about your body...they don't care whether you're fat or thin or black or white, they just want to draw you. And then you get to look at their work if they don't mind it. It's fun stuff. And considering that the job only paid minum wage at a community college, it was definitely only for fun.

    Hello Rigamarole
While there is a mind body spirit connection (think Tai Chai) bodybuilding in the 1980's wasn't that. In the US at that time there was this idea that everything needed to be a disco from laundrymats to gyms. There were bars in the gyms then and the atmosphere was very odd...especially for a woman not wearing spandex and matching leg warmers (not that that is bad I eventually got my mom to go to all woman's club sans bar and we wore cute outfits together it was fun and bonding for us)... This was just my local gym I never progressed to looking seriously for another coach and ended up setting up weights at home. The motivation at that level of fitness and competition had nothing to do with who you were inside...it's extreme. I know nothing about the sport now and don't mean to knock it at all. A local woman I know that works with my mom at a department store is a body builder and she seems very grounded....so it's just my reflections from 20+ yrs ago. Pushing your physical self and your limits is very spiritual or not depending on the person not the sport. Just my humble opinion and my limited experience. I'm glad you like the photo. I like it because it's a moment in time when my body was not my own, I was host for a parasite. Women especially but men too get caught up with the false illusion of "perfect beauty". I teach a media literacy class to teen girls. In one part Cindy Crawford, super model, shows a cover photo of herself from Cosmo, then shows the original shot with over 50 corrections to be made written on the photo; from shaving 2" off her thigh to airbrushing veins and other "flaws". As she says, she doesn't even look like Cindy Crawford when she gets up in the morning. When I modeled everyones favorite model was a very large woman who would make the best distorted faces and be able to hold the pose for hours. She was so beautiful.

I posed all 4 years of college in a studio setting, it was a non sexual experience, while at the same time being verY freeing. I have done it again recently for a local artist I don't mind the money or the hot prickley feeling I get when I drop my robe. Much respect to the sister with the beautiful moon belly that is beautiful.

Me and my bf paid to do it not long ago...expensive but worth it...got a really good nude shot of us with him nuzzled in my neck...the photographer said if I wanted to do more work for him then he would give me the photos, but he said to ring him if I wanted to rather than him ring me, which made me feel that if I did it I would want to do it more than he wanted me to do it and that could give him some sort of psychological leverage to ask me to do some sort of pics I wasn't comfortable with.

You paid him so that he'd photograph you posing nude, and you did it with your boyfriend? Lucky photographer! He not only got two models, but he got them to pay him for their services. You totally got cheated there. All you have to do is find an artist who's in search of a couple for modelling, and as if you could be given a copy of the work. If it's analogue art, ask for a picture. If it's a photograph, ask for a print. You could even get paid in addition to this, just negotiate with them and remember that you are the one doing the favor, not them. After modelling at the college, I went with my courtier to the home of one of my friends from the class, and she actually freely gave me what she felt was her "worst" rendering of me (I thought it was terrific), which I then gave to the woman I love. If you're willing to model purely in exchange for copies of the renderings, then totally go for it!

Funny I should find this post. I saw a job listing for work study students entitled "model for art" just today and called. Obviously I'd have to be nude but its 12 dollars. But I know its a much harder job than most people think. Being nude and holding stances for a long time - basically doing that all day (or at least 6 hours a day). The lady I talked to told me to speak with other models. Should I give the work study job a whirl? - shes in desperate need of male models and is certian I'd be hired...I'm just worried I'd get naked and have a boner..or have shrinkage from the cold but besides that I am comfortable with my body..maybe I'd blush a little.
