I definitely wouldn't get married again, but I was just joking in my earlier reply, because I doubt if any other woman would have me ! I'm not worried about that though, lol.

There is a story of a middle aged man who was divorced and remarried. Lost his second wife unexpectedly and stayed off the market. Did what he could to support his ex and the children until they left the nest. Now on his own he enters a Hooters for lunch. There sat his ex with her 3rd husband. The hostess, unbeknownst to her, tried to seat him at the neighboring table. He halted her and explained the situation with the ex wife. It was misunderstood as he seated himself at the bar. The word spread throughout the restaurant with many of the wait staff offering condolences thinking she left him for the latest husband. He left with 5 phone numbers and a date for Friday night.

I will never be married again. Dating and enjoying the company of a woman or several women, is not out of the question. Long term commitment is. So in a sense I would not reenter the market but still be available for a good time.

 

Married twice, divorced twice. Never again. Discounting their cheating, maybe some of it was my fault.
