The thing about song lyrics is that they're only half of what makes a song good. You can have shitty lyrics and a great melodic hook, you can have great lyrics and lousy music. The challenge is to create a song that has good lyrics and a good melody. Now, if you already have that then good for you. But if you post only your lyrics here, then no matter how good they are, they're just one half of the finished work. If you could find a way to get us to hear your songs, that would make us appreciate your songs all the more. Of course, I wish to do the same with my own songs, but I hardly have time to record them.
