Smoke some of it, if it doesn't get you high chances are it was oregano or something else with no thc. If thats true then I think that guy has a death wish coming for him.

What a nice picture, please don't use your 1 MP cellphone camera or webcam. The picture just makes me more confused about what this can be.

The texture doesn't look like cannabis at all though, it looks like some kind of cut herb. A sharper, higher quality picture would be nice and I could give you a quick answer on it.

But if you want a quick answer, if it smells like mint ... without a hint of cannabis at all. You have been ripped of bigtime hehe, or you have some cannabis I wouldn't even dare putting into my Jay. I've had pretty weird smelling cannabis in my life, all came in whole buds though ... and some are the nicest smokes. But there's always this 'hint' of budscent.

Don't buy crushed stuff in the first instance ... dumb mistake. Only buy whole buds, they are fresher, most likely not too dry (crushed buds lose their moist real quick) and a nicer smoke. What kind of dude did you buy it from? Usually it's really easy to find an anwer.
