yeah most of this rap shit lately is really gay some new stuff to come out that i like is deinetley "white tees" (already mentioned) and judging by "just lose it" it looks like eminem might get back to his comedic roots which i definetley rpefer over his gangster shit. dre pac and snoop are always good im not much of a biggie fan tho. g-unit and d12 are the shit too. im definetley not dissin pink floyd!! rock is some pretty cool shit. i was all rap till i moved to va and started hangin with rockers and they got me into their music a little bit....stuff like CKY and ween and some pink floyd misfits shit liek that. so i have learned an appreciation for all music...except country..i dont see how anyone can stand that shit!

but for those of u not willing to listent o more then rap or rock u should try some different music
like i said before in one of my posts everybody should develope a love for afro man!!!!

Kottonmouth Kings are the shit. Everybody who smokes should listen to them. I don't listen to rap often but I like it. One of my friends listens to it a lot, so when I'm with him we usually have on rap. I like Big Punisher a lot.

 

I find electronica to be really good for being high, and of course rock music, at least a lot of it; nothing with screaming or angry sounding vibes, I can't dig that, especially not when I'm stoned.

Country is the best music to listen to when you're drinking. Expecially if youre feeling down and want music to match it. Country is perfect. I also like it for camping because it seems to fit the mood.

 

uh oh....i think i'm the biggest floyd fan around....
i listen when stoned, when sober, when up when down, since i was 5, and i'm 19 now..
so..............PINK FLOyd ROCKS, thakn ya very much....

My other favourite bands are: The STones, Zeppelin, Dylan, Beatles....

i know i listen to a broad range of music, although i love the crusy, guitar and singer, Damien Rice rocks!

 

i have friends who listen to country and my dad does alot. but like i said i dont see how people can listen to it. BUT TO EACH THEIR OWN. and whoever said rap should die is terribly mistaken. RAP is the fastest growing music taste and has been since the late 80's it has even outshined the Youths new love of classic rock( zepplin floyd and the likes) i downloaded some of that nickatina shit. its pretty tight.

 

well its obvious that rap would outshine Zeppelin, Floyd etc. Thats because most youth are too immature to appreciate or truly understand the music (or come close to understanding- in Pink Floyds case). Rap is much more easy to understand and in some cases-like in urban areas, it is easier to relate to for kids.

 

Phluffy is right. It takes talent to create the music Floyd did. Although it may take a little more thought to understand it, its worth it. Rap on the other hand can be made on a computer or synthesizer. Add a couple of rhymes about guns and bi***es and u got urself a hit. Maybe if rappers rapped about positive stuff then id enjoy it.
