Homemade pizza is always the bomb. Real cheese, real meat, real condiments. :) it's a pitty I'm always lazy and order it for a home delivery because it's never the same, ever.

I'd order it but nobody will deliver this far out in the boonies. :(

I haven't searched all of the site but does the forum have a 'cooking for dummies' thread? I'm a mess in the kitchen.

olive oil on your pan when you bake it..

sort of a trick I use for box pizza too, grease the pan/pizza tray with olive oil comes out like pizza hut..

I like the chef boyrdee home made pizza in a box,, you have to put it together.. I use a cookie sheet and make it square tho.. its to much for a round one...

I buy my base frozen then I use either tomato paste or tomato sauce, you could use pizza sauce I guess but I just sprinkle some mixed herbs to add the flavor to the sauce. I paste it all over my base then add my circle meats like salami slices in a nice orderly fashion. Then I lay down my ham and other meats. Next is BBQ sauce. Now you could just squirt it all over, or go in a circle from large to centre but I like to inscribe comforting runes with my sauce. I will offer 4 runes to my gods enabling them to also eat with me, I think they'd like pizza. :)
Then I chop up my pineapple but also tinned pineapple is okay too, pineapple slices, not rings. Then I also add my jalapeños and peppers if I want them. Cover it all in shredded cheese but don't go overboard then throw it in the oven until cheese is melted and a touch brown and then that's it. Slice it. Eat it. :)

yeah its easier for me to buy the dough at the bread store and then make the pizza or pizza bread.

yeah know what grinds my gears, people turn on light and leave the room.. some the most wasteful fucking people ive ever know.. I hate my penis..

Cooking in a pan will cause the center to be doughy and the edges burned... Bake it directly on the rack, or a stone if you have one.

What would I do if I was cooking it on a pan?

Preheat the pan and olive oil; prick the crust; cook it almost done; top it; put foil around the edges if it looks like it's going to burn.

    That's what I'd try.

i used to have a pizza stone.. hell,,Ive forgotten about til now. but that was the ultimate evenness ... now Ive to be much more careful .. but Ive a pizza shop 2mins from my house. ive to be in the mood to make my own pizza, but that happens sometimes ,, specially when I have the deer sausage to spare. 3days left to the deer season,, might actually get a hunting day in with some snow.. thats been mostly elusive this winter other than a few squalls and dusting ...

The dog did not seem to be concerned that there is a hen sleeping in the box where he usually sleeps… It's kind of like he senses that Hen is hurt and he doesn't want to bother

I have a pizza stone but I don't like it much. Bases seem to not cook properly and everything under the cheese doesn't cool well. Mind you I only used it once. Then the oven just seemed easier.

You put the stone in the oven when you turn the oven on to preheat it and then you put the pizza on the stone when both are like 400° you do not put the stone in the oven cold … Right?
