anyone that thinks another great depression cant happen is a fool and anyone that thinks todays society will take a situation such as the great depression in a passive manner is a fool IMO..

there WILL be chaos in the cities of america as well as europe and the UK at some point.

i agree just as with the great depression some will not feel it at all and some will see there wealth increase 10 fold.. that is after all what they are designed for,to redistribute wealth.

this coming depression is designed to wipe the middle class out once and for all as well as redesign economies to be more locally focused due to the energy crisis that is upon us all. and i feel they will pretty much succeed,,globally.

i was blessed with a visit from a very wealthy dear old friend the other day who assured me he had my back financially no matter what was coming.
that being said, said person has connections in the federal government and has years of experience in the financial field and he has transfered much of his assets into gold, silver and commodities.
he has also doubled the size of his arsenal and ammunition stockpile and one of the reasons he came here was to make sure he could still "bug out" here..

oh yes,,turmoil is coming for us all.

IMO,the people that refuse to see whats coming in the next months and years have blinders on and are being very very foolish with there and there loved ones lives..

and beckner,if you will do some research you will find that on average the debt of your average person in the U.K. is much higher than the average americans.. your countries day of reckoning will be right behind americas..

oh yes beckner,, your country is just as FUCKED as america.your culture just dictates that you be to complacent and trusting in your government to believe the facts of whats coming for you and yours as well..

yeah,, and you say americans are to patriotic to see whats coming?? pfft,, lol

    whats your excuse???

um yes the united states has about 1/8th the population per square mile as britain..

    http://blogs.usatoday.com/oped/2006/10/post_18.html

once again its just a case of a uninformed individual playing the "america aint so great" game while being clueless of there own countries situation ,,right down to there population per square mile..

population denisty PSM equates to less farmable land ,ergo more food being imported,

    http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/green-living/food-miles-the-true-cost-of-putting-imported-food-on-your-plate-451139.html

what that means is,as energy prices skyrocket the UK's options on keeping food prices down will be far more limited than the united states..

yep someone needs to do some homework...

i am not sure that everything will crash

i am sure that if something is not done that we will return to the 'good old days'

[we are really already halfway there]

i recommend reading some 19th century social history to see a vision of the 21st century

[mister we could use a man like franklin roosevelt again]

i agree, i DONT see us winding up back in the stone age.. i have NEVER said that. i have however said, and do firmly believe that we are headed for a caste society globally.

i also have stated, and do firmly believe that in the transition to the "new global economic system",there will be great turmoil. i also believe that much of what is to come is planned and orchestrated by the elite of the world.

then there are the variables such as the wheat rust that is threatening to destroy much of this years wheat crop in south asia the middle east and europe..

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080509/FOREIGN/646631468/1001

yes indeed,as i have also stated, the world is one failed harvest in the northern hemisphere away from global catastrophe..

im not a alarmist,i believe in being well informed and as such,i feel its my duty to attempt to inform the masses. what they choose to do with the information is out of my hands..

as for me and mine,we are making the transition to the old ways as quickly as possible to keep the shock of what is to come to a minimum..

how does that alabama song go??

"somebody told us wall street fell but we was so poor we couldnt tell"..

sometimes living poor makes one wealthier than any amount of money could.. ;)

i agree with you up to a point

that point being when the price of rice and beans doubled

i cannot afford being poor anymore either

    [what is below poor?]

living off the land around here means killing anything that moves

    and very little moves anymore...

[and we are not blessed with kudzu]

Part of my problem with the raising costs of.... everything...

...is a lot of it comes after massive speculation and hype from the same people who sell us...everything...

I mean, look at all that you posted HHB in that one post. There is a lot of speculation and hype mixed in with some of the facts you CAN see already, like that of dollar oranges (four times the price of what they were less than half a year ago). But a lot of it is just fear mongering and speculation. People simply buy it and thus we dig our own graves so to speak, by eventually paying more and more because we take the hype. Wake up, call out the BS and say "stop bombarding us with scare tactic BS".

I do think times may very well get ugly. We need to have each others backs. We can not denigrate into chaos. we need to keep a watchful and helpful eye out for our families and dear friends...and start to build our own gardens if that is an option, for example.

oh i fully agree, this is why i say its a depression designed and created by the global elite. after all the heads of all the major corporations in the world and the heads of the worlds major banks are part of the elite 6000.

i fully agree here as well, however the sheeple by in large have been taught there entire lives to live breathe and die by what comes out of there idiot box and over there radios airwaves..

the masses dont think out of the box no matter how simple of a solution there may be to the problem. no they will keep spending money they dont have to spend, keep digging themselves deeper in a whole waiting for the government to make it all better..

its not going to get "all better" this time,,at least not for a good long time..

    good post man.. ;)
