    But did you ever sneak down to the livingroom at 2 in the morning to turn on the tv and watch the test pattern with the indian in it? :D

    No because the stations went off the air a little after midnight. We watched Johnny Carson followed by a playing of the National Anthem. Then the test pattern for a few minutes. After that it was snow until 6am.

    Yeah I remember the Indian. Sometimes he'd be really big.
    Found him more than once after getting home late on a Saturday night and trying to turn on Don Kirshners Rock Concert.
    I had a bad friend tell me this year on my birthday this year that I was born 62 years ago in 62. If you go backwards in time 62 years from your birth year you would be in 1900. I don't really understand why but that made me really feel old.
