hmm ... that would explain a few things ... then again i have always been confused as j0hn is listed as male and gay in his profile, but talks of loving female mice and wearing knickers. so who knows. maybe just someone afraid of being themselves fully? or paranoid some bizarre stalker types will find them? the mystery builds. hi, dappy.
Dappy! Crikey, has it been a while, or have i been having some kind of temporary blindness? The mysteries of J0hn have had me thinking far too much! Cant be healthy
I've always been a little freaked out with the Olivia Flaversham thing... BUT it's disney and I don't know any males who have that much of a love of it...
you know...i've been thinking. (takes ibuprofen) you know, people go on and on about america electing bush. well...sweets, england elected blair and brown. c'mon now, share the pain.
Well, we haven't elected Brown, he just ascended gloriously to the throne like John Major did. I must admit I did vote for Blair in 1997 (though never again), but that was just to get the Tories out. Turned out he was a Tory as well
of course but B&B are from a party with left wing traditions whereas you B comes from the right we did get some good social modifiers introduced during Blairs tenure
i bet that must be excruciatingly frustrating. not getting all the truth, fighting half a country voting with their "patriotism" and/or lack of knowledge, then having something like this come up and people laughing at your stupid leader. oh, wait, that's americans.
yeah, and twice you got an american presidential lap dog elected leader. that's gotta be really annoying.
It seems to be a condition of the job, for at least the last 30 years anyway. I'm certain that once a new PM gets in to Number 10 the Americans show up with photos of Winston Churchill buggering a spaniel while the queen watches... "do what we say or these get published..."
depends if one is annoyed with the usa and tbh i ain't, sure the war business is a pain but otherwise can't say I'm that fussed really
i wouldn't know what the hell to do about it. what a total fubar situation. we're in the middle of an election. i'm so annoyed and frustrated by the whole thing that i just want to go somewhere else until it's all over.
The average American is as good or bad as anyone else. So lets make that clear. My views are based on the current Bush Administration. It is one which threatens the lives of its citizens and the citizens of the world. I just love it the thread title. It simply highlights how arragant the Bush administration is. And how in the end, America will suffer from yet more terrorism. I was watching ABCNEWS at around 01:30 BST. I saw the speech given by Jeremiah Wright. He is a Pastor, but one that holds the truth. If God were to make judgement on America, he wouldn't be blessing those who continue to torture and defile humanity in the eyes of United Nations, at Guantanamo. Those of us who saw the "Human Pyramid", "The shock treatment", the "Rape", "Waterboarding". All these things came from amongst American Bush Administration. I don't wish to paint Americans in a perfect light. They are probably as innocent or guilty as anybody else. But what I think everyone is getting at is its more to do with Bush administration. America should realise that they should treat other countries how they would like to be treated themselves. It is a scientific fact: What goes around, comes around;every action has a reaction. In the Bible, it suggests just that but in a biblical way. There are a lot of Christians living in America. Surely they can see that the Bush administration is corrupt and somewhat arragant. Perhaps when America are ready to face up to their responsibility in Iraq and in Afghanistan. May they surely never again, bare the brunt of another 9/11. For we all condemn terrorism; Two wrongs don't make a right. Additional: As for Power_13. Erm, just because we clashed over the Zelda issue, doesn't justify your comment. There are probably a lot of things we do agree with
Your head seems to be a bit better JOhn, you make some good points, again we the people do not want this war, but what do you do sit back and take what is thrown at you or do you stand up and be counted, having said that I want to make it clear we went after the wrong country, we and the rest of the world need to take a hard look at Saudi Arabia, they are not as they appear, they are more of a threat than Iraq ever was, and talk about boot licking, hell Bushs back hurts from bending over to kiss the feet of all the so called princes over there, and for what ? Peace
Try and google it. Go to www.google.co.uk and select images. Type in Olivia Flaversham. You are right, you don't watch alot of Disney.
We didn't clash as such, it's more like you ignored me for five pages until I blew up. Still, let bygones be bygones and all that. Either way... It was Brown that said it, not a member of the Bush administration. unless there's a weird conspiracy going on and the two are synonymous
"What? The Land of the Free? Whoever told you that is your Enemy" (RATM) Countries bombed by the United States I can find plenty wrong with the States, including Guantanamo bay, the death penalty, guns galore and the fact that something like 1 million of its' citizens are in jail. Plus screwed healthcare for the poor and you have to be a millionaire to run for president. They drop bombs like it's going out of fashion, and all behind a facade of upholding "freedom and democracy". It's a shame this does not include the democratic right not to be bombed.
