good ol' philly...this is the first shot on google but im pretty sure if i could jump super high or had a helicopter above my apartment the view would be similar, i dont live too far from that stadium. that picture is pretty old, theirs no comcast building in the shot. i cant really say i love philly a lot but i think its a great city(could use a cleaning...) i really enjoy the city though, like being close to school, like the parks that are in the city, not far from the tweeter center or whatever it is called now but it gets some very good concerts. of course theirs cheesesteaks, birch beer, and tastycakes and wawa's i saw the picture of genos on the first or 2nd page...genos is for tourist, same with pats but pats is a little less of a tourist attraction because genos looking "prettier" and is across the street. if you want a good cheesesteak you gotta go to northeast philly and go to "Steves Prince of Steaks" they are incredible and arent dbags if you dont order right haha
The skyline of downtown Rockford, not too big. City pop is 145,000, including surrounding areas it is just about 500k. The Kenneth Laurent House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is in Rockford Rockford has a bad ghetto though We have a nice museum downtown with a sick archaeological find in Jane the dinosaur. She is actually a juvenile t-rex specimen.
Yeah it's pretty fuckin huge. Here's a pic of the old one, which is still there, right next to the new one:
`sorry the pictures are so big. my cityyy! my favorite walk.. from university city train station to surburban.. past the river, wonderland, the comcast center & love park. <3
Please keep the images at reasonable sizes, since the last one was shut down for that reason. I have Photoshop, so if you absolutely CANNOT figure out how to resize pics yourself, then PM me and I'll try to resize them for you. Once again, if your pics are so big that you have to side-scroll to see them all, then resize them before you post. Okay, so, I live in a tiny P.O.S. town, so I can't really find any pics of it, but I'll show you Amarillo, I spend a lot of time there, too. I particularly love the bowtie on the windmill because my favorite local celebrity put it up. Stanley Marsh 3, the namesake of Stan Marsh on South Park, has this windmill on his property, along with giant letters that say "ACTUAL SIZE" in the middle of a field, and he put up the Cadillac Ranch...he's just such a cool dude, lol. And you know if he's around town, because he drives a truck with two giant horns (like a longhorn). It's hilarious.
