Are you this passionate about men who are killing, raping and dominating the world? I'm curious to know if you have other ambitions on lecturing your morals.
I'm kidding! But why are you so hung up on these tired feminist cliches (ie. white men are evil and the cause of all the world's problems)? I can think of several women -- white and black -- who are just as much a part of the problem. Just look at Condoleeza Rice, Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton.
Wait, wait. Who said I was hung up on them? I made a point about Mak being hung up on lecturing his moralistic views on the bodies of women. Call it a feminist cliche, but I happen to have a body and be female. That doesn't make me hung up on blaming white men. Bad form, Matt.
Lecturing my morals? Stating my opinion. You don't like mine, and I don't like yours. It's cool, but don't pretend you're doing anything different than I am just because we don't agree. And YES I am this passionate about that. I wouldn't be opposed to 25-50 year minimums for rape, and death for multiple offenders. I have no patience, respect, or compassion for those who do not respect life. Don't like it? Don't have to.
We live in a world where men get paid to donate their DNA and sperm to create life. Is that not a mistreatment and abuse of a person's life?? You see, I see this on the same playing field as abortion. It's perfectly legal and is the property of the person to choose what to do with. To sell, give life, or destroy. If a man can sell a part of himself that has the potential of either destroying or creating life, I see fit in my mind view that women should have that same right. Abortions happen to fall biologically in their realm of authority and rights to personhood.
I support licensing and license revocation. the revocation would come with a free spay or neuter. and for men who knock up three women, vasectomy.
IMO, it's better than having a baby and making the rest of it support it, or even worse being so unstable you raise someone who does not contribute to society.. Kids deserve loving homes full of educational opportunity, patience and a stable family. What if you have a kid with autism? can you afford to stay home with him in order to drive him to all of his medical appoitments and behavior therapy? Can you afford his medications or private school if the school district is not accomodating?I've had a couple of abortions and know I made the right decision. Both times I found out at 5-6 weeks and got the soonest appoitment availbe. I want my kids to have art camps and dance classes and two healthy and stable parents.I couldn't have been a good mother when I had the abortions, but if I were to get pregnant now I know I would be an awesome mom and could handle whatever child I have been given. It's just a very practical matter.
Pch. Did not. You called me a dyke!! I asked if he was passionate about men's moralistic decisions and plunders, such as killing, rape and ruling - because I was curious if he was capable of equating his moralistic views with other similar topics about the deaths or quality of life of people in society. Where did I go off on all men?? I think you assumed I was coming down on all men when I asked a general question about Mak's views on the current men's state in the world and in society.
I am warmed each time you are able to be both protective and complimenting at the same time. It's refreshing.
The fact is that abortion is as old as the oldest profession...there have been unwanted pregnancies since the dawn of time. The only thing new is the procedure. Women used to practically poison and torture themselves to get rid of the babies. This is nothing new, and there sure were NO women's rights 2 thousand years ago...
Creating life and destroying life cannot be equated. Women also have the ability to donate their eggs, and get paid to help another create life. So that's an equal rights thing and not one sided as abortion is with the rights that are received by only women.
