Absolutely. I mean would you really teach that phrase to your children? If not, I don't find it valid.
These two things obviously do not equate. Women have the right to sell the some 40 million ovum they possess when they reach puberty just as men have the right to sell their sperm for both practical and academic purposes. This is equality. Women who get pregnant by a man who does not wish to have children, and refuse to abort the fetus should not be entitled to child support. They were both present for the act that caused the pregnancy but both do not wish to participate in the further propagation of that life. The man has no say in the matter. If the man wanted the child and the woman did not she could be barred from an abortion by legal action. But he could not force her to abort the fetus. This is inequality. I think that was Mak's entire point. Though his methods are a bit extreme, his point is sound.
I think it's fascist. And for the record I'm not pro-abortion, just pro-choice and pro-freedom. The government should not tell us what we can and can't do with our bodies.
Perhaps. But like any other group, women as a group seem to have the mundane inability to offer equality until they GET equality.
women have the right to get a abortion there is not even a small chance that anything like this lame ass idea will ever be used
What? That doesn't make any sense. As far as I'm concerned, if some guy left his spooge in my vagina, it's my property. And that's that. It's my egg now, my right to have it, my right to decide whether it lives or dies - because it is my personhood and my own legal personal property.
Yeah, but my point is the mistreatment of life. If we go around selling our eggs and sperm like it's a commodity, our property, why not treat a cluster of cells the same way? We manipulate animal life, plant life and our own lives. That is the world we live in. No offense, but once you leave your spooge in a woman's vagina, it's her right to do whatever she wants with what you left behind. Legally she should have every right to whatever you decided to give away. Biologically, it makes sense that women have a legal choice.
Fine but his money IS NOT in your vagina, so what entitles you to that if you CHOOSE to let it live? After all, his money was NOT deposited in any of your part of you and it is his own legal progp This is an example of women wanting to have their cake and eat it too, which typically does not fly anywhere else. Why do women get the choice and all the benefits?
cause women are weaker than us bro they like to act all tough and shit but they really are all basket cases
I think being smoking meth is nowhere near enlightenment. Good thing what we think about others doesn't always have to be true.
Fine, great, no problem. And if she chooses to keep what I left behind she chooses to exclude me from all involvement: physical, emotional and financial. I can't tell you NOT to carry my child and you can't tell me that I have to spend 25 years paying for something I don't want. That would be equality and that's the goal, right?
Bro you're arguing with a tweaker who denies being a tweaker. Not that there's anything wrong with being a tweaker... Get past it, k?
I agree completely. This is one of the worst double standards ever. It is so fucked up. If a chick gets knocked up and the guy wants to keep it, but she doesn't, the baby gets aborted and the guy has no say. If she wants to keep the baby and he doesn't, she keeps it and he is legally bound to pay to the point he can barely survive while the mother gets new clothes every month. It's my opinion that women either need to learn how to be truly equal and accept responsibility for things they do, or keep their fucking legs shut.
I can see how this is sucky for guys, but it doesn't make me think e should change the laws. Men should pay child support, regardless of whether or not they want the child. I feel it from the guy's perspective in a way. Andy pays a shit-load of child-support, but I am not resentful of that and of course neither is he. I think that's why I married him, because I knew he took his commitments seriously. I do seriously wish I didn't fuck people I didn't want kids with though, totally irresponsible.
Actually there is precedent for preventing the abortion. A man sued to prevent a woman he impregnated from aborting his fetus. He won. So there really isn't equality. He can stop her from doing it but he can't compel her to do it.
And I would completely agree IF a father was able to "veto" an abortion. Anything else is selfish feminist bullshit.
