In the 1970s I had an encounter with two Demonic Spirits for a period off and on for six months. With the aid of a group of Christians I finally got rid of these two. They hated Christ, and their was an abudance of spirit activity which finally ended, when one of them was forced to leave and the other one was burnt up on the floor next to me. I can tell you, this was fully supernatural. When you have experiencied what we experienced, you understand who you are dealing with.

Indeed I have. Campbell, sir, you'd be surprised what the human mind and spirit are capable of accomplishing. We give ourselves little credit. We are not victims, not reactors, but actors whether we are consciously aware of this or not.

We are both the creator and the created, for we are affected by our creations, so vivid and manifested before our eyes.

    It's all bullshit. :p

The capacity for human self-deception is remarkable.

Yes, reality becomes what we believe it to be.

Well if I ever took drugs I might agree with you, but what happen to me had nothing to do with my imagination.

You might also remember self-deception can go two ways. I believe that the reality of the supernatural is so frightening to some, they would rather believe it all originates from the mind. Yet when you read of accounts of people being attacked by unseen forces, with claw marks across their bodies, you have to wonder. Especially when others are present, and those claw marks just appear on the body.

Right. Perhaps we underestimate our own potential. That power coming from ourselves is scary!

There have been tests with such things as these. One of which I can recall, and is consistant with this possibility of human-origin.

Campbell34. I would LOVE to see some evidence for the "supernatural". Just one fucking time. If it could be PROVEN to be "spirits" or whatever, you've sold me. Just once is all it would take.

Unexplained doesn't equal "GOD DID IT". Unexplained doesn't equal "ghosts". It is merely UNEXPLAINED.

Now, on saying that, out of ALL previous mysteries that have been explained, guess how they were explained (volcano gods, etc.)-- NATURALLY.

It is much more reasonable to see that everything a mystery is explained it happens to be explained naturally and then everybody goes "Oh...I see" and moves on.

Frankly, the entire "supernatural" argument is built on the argument or appeal to ignorance and wishful thinking.

UNEXPLAINED & MYSTERIOUS doesn't equal EVIDENCE...it is a LACK OF IT.

When it comes to the supernatural there are volumes that cannot be explained. You need not go very far and you will find an abundance of evidence that have simply left science hanging. From generation to generation new stories arise, only to be forgotton and replaced with newer stories. Some things have been explained, but to believe that all can be explained by science or logic is really stepping out on a limb. Sometimes when an explination is found for one event, many feel that then all can be explained through modern science. This is simply not the case.

The entire ''supernatural'' argument is built on the argument or appeal to ignorance and wishful thinking?

I'm not sure if those in the know in the military would agree with that statement. In 1969 I was stationed on a navy base on the west coast. In the evening there were thousands of us sitting around the base when a green circle appeared above us high in the sky, with a green luminous dot in the center of it. Even though there was a slight breeze blowing the circle never moved from its postion. Everyone just watched it for a good 10 minutes or more until it just faded away. No one in charge knew what it was, or where it came from. Years later while looking into a book about Indian spirtuality, I saw the same sign. Indians call it, the eye of God. I do not believe it comes from the God I worship, yet there are other spirit forces at work in this world. Below are some post that talk about ufos, and military encounters, both in the United States, and Russia.

What's so supernatural about other life forms using their technology to check us out? Glad ya don't think they're Demons in disguise though. :D

Author Keel who is a non christian and who was one of the leading ufo researchers in the United States has stated, that the more he investigated ufo's the more he was pushed into the world of Demonology. I believe he is correct. You can read about his discoveries in his book titled, why ufo's.
